Swan Lake is a future dystopia. A landscape where natural things have been overrun and replaced. The fall of wooden trees gives way to budding metal ones. Dead fish filled with plaster, silicon, and wax lie around the rubble. Bleach-filled Swans are the only lifeforms able to permanently inhabit this polluted lake. A lone boy suits up in his hazmat suit, desperate to play in any body of water; But it's not quite the same as it used to be...
Installation includes, welded metal trees, cast silicon, plaster and wax fish, water, bleach bottles, lobster trap, rubble. Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake plays on loop on speakers throughout the installation.
