'Mounds' is an ongoing photography collection of urban, suburban, and rural piles of used, to-be used, and unwanted piles of miscellaneous material from a range of locations. Each mound has a unique sculptural quality, and they are often assembled by people and machinery. These construction workers, farmers, business owners, dump trucks (the list goes on) are covert creatives, and the work is in recognition of them, and the beauty of the forms that detritus can take. The work is comprised of over 200 photos and location references of mounds worldwide.
